Micromon High Throughput Sequencing Service provides a complete sequencing and data analysis service based around the second-generation Illumina Genome Analyzer (GAII) sequencing platform.
This system is capable of producing million of reads in a single run at a tiny fraction of the cost of traditional sequencing. See our resources page for a complete description of the Illumina sequencing technology.
Our service offerings include DNA sequencing, mRNA discovery and analysis, small RNA discovery and analysis, ChIP sequencing, and a wide array of bioinformatics analyses, applications and support.
We operate as part of the Micromon DNA Sequencing Facility in conjunction with the co-located Monash University Department of Microbiology and Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute.
