The Illumina Genome Analyzer produces very large quantities of raw data (including images, intensity measurements and noise estimates). This data then converted automatically by our analysis software pipeline into standard-format base calls and quality measurements. The volume of raw data produced is typically in the order of terabytes and it is not useful to most customers. However, we are happy to provide this data to the customer, but it should be noted that a portable hard disk drive must be purchased from us (it can be included in the sequencing quotation), or provided by the customer before commencement of the sequencing project.
The standard sequencing results will be provided to you either online (through this web site), on DVD or both. |
